Sports Debate

Should we stop playing/watching sports as it is a waste of time?

Many people argue that sports is a waste of time whether you are playing or watching it and it distracts you from your work. I personally believe that sports really helps a person to concentrate on his work and he feels refreshed.

Can a person take drugs in order boost up his/her performance?

Taking drugs is like cheating and it is not justified.

Why should we focus on thes sprit of the game?

We should focus on the spirit of the game as this is where the very concept of sportsmanship comes in and this makes the game fun to watch or play.

  • Don't use "we" for any of your questions.

In question 1 a "waste of time" is far too subjective and open to individual schedules and taste to debate effectively.

Question 2 asks "can," but your answer is to a question of "should."

    Question 3 is too vague.

Come up with replacement questions. The best way to avoid these problems is to come up with questions that are *academic*--asking questions that interrogate and do not bring in issues of personal taste or context specificity or ethics.

  • Should sports be commercialized?

    Are ethics important for atheles?

Does sports management expertise benefit the game or the people associated with it?
